100% agree with Nick Nelson on this post:

I know the Twins are mostly gonna wait out RP market and that's fine, but if serious about trying to compete next year, they have to go get one standout FA before they're all signed. Right?? Someone like Luke Weaver or Pete Fairbanks would at least give a baseline of legitimacy.

How would you know they are not talking to players now?

Talking is not the same as signing. Last year they waited until February, the year before they waited until end of December.

Last 2 years Bader, Columba and Santana outperformed their contracts. 3 other contracts were minimal wage player. France was better than expected. There is no problem
