I looked at this killer road trip through the AL East and the Twins' struggles on the road and against AL East teams.

 

The Twins are 66-130 against the AL East since 2008. That includes two teams that won the AL Central and another that lost in a one-game play-in game.

Can the Twins stay ahead of the White Sox? Does it matter?

At this point, it does not matter. Trade off short term pieces and get a higher pick.
