Lopez going on IL

Twins saying Lopez has hamstring injury and will go on IL. They expect he will only be on for the 15 days.  We will be dipping into the AAA pitchers already.  My buess Zebby gets the call.  They could go Festa though too. I would not be surprised if either do well that when Lopez gets back Paddock may become a pen guy if he continues to struggle going deep into starts.

I think Matthews pitched in the same day as Lopez. Both his performance and throwing schedule are a fit.

I hope both Paddack and Woods-Richardson step up and make it really hard to take them out of the rotation when Lopez returns. If they don’t and Matthews outperforms them they must keep Matthews in the rotation.

Did anyone else find that exchange between Lopez and Mackey ending, and then Correa calling for the trainer a bit strange?
