I think they are no 15-35 over last 50 games

Nothing like consistency.

I’ve got to think a little bit to come up with a team so completely never ready to play baseball in any facet of the game

This pretty much says it all.

I remember playing over-40 ball back in LA- there was a team sponsored by an Irish bar, that were a good bunch of players, but more often than not, we'd catch them on the early Sunday AM game. Even hung over as hell, they looked a lot more prepared than the Twinks do every damn time.

Hmm, trashing Gasper when all but France and Bader are doing SO Well, good grief.

Need to show the fan base something.

I say replace the manager. With virtually anybody. Maybe not all his fault, but it’s the easiest thing to do. He’s 1) not getting the most out of this roster and 2) lost the support of a lot if not most of the fan base. Understand that the roster construction by the FO is extremely flawed (again) and the “money” players look like they’re going through the motions. But the Manager has lost the teams and a lot of the fans.

Bring up the young talent and let them take their knocks. Find out what you have for the future. This roster equals 70 to 75 wins max regardless of Manager.

Attendance at Target Field will continue to crater with this product.

I wonder what they used in the dugout to tell them not to walk pasquantino to set up the double play. With probably the league’s slowest man due up. Wondering about that thought process.

😂

The odds that we would’ve turned a double play without fumbling the ball or messing up a throw were probably pretty low…

The Royals and Tigers are better baseball teams with better talent and Cleveland might be too. Falvey made his bed complete with a pile of DH players and the Twins will struggle to win low scoring games. They will hit, eventually, but it will be quite a challenge.

Blaming Julien for his play at second base tonight was precious, seeing as he was the DH. The whipping boy.

Lopez looked really good. If he goes on the IL, Matthews steps in next turn. Zebby was fabulous tonight. Keeping with the organizational goals, the Saints played a DH/1B in right field because it must be the pitcher's fault if a fly ball is hit out there. One was, it landed, and Zebby gets charged for the runs. Matthews absolutely owned a lineup of AAAA Omaha players who all have a fair amount of MLB time.

All of the people that “want to see the prospects play” will get that chance probably by May 1 because we’ll be so far in a hole

I’m good with this. Lots of guys to move on from. This club is going nowhere for 2025

I would actually be happy if I believed this to be true.

Rocco not doing that on his own. And to whom is Falvey currently accountable to do the right thing? He’s probably looking to make the “Almost 80 wins with all the adversity we faced is good” argument to new ownership.

I want to be wrong so bad.

As I like to think to myself, "this team couldn't hit its way out of a wet paper bag".  Add to that an infield still learning to play defense, players that don't look like they even care, and a pitching staff that's been well short of impressive thus far.  The result is this mess wearing TC ball caps.

No, they were wearing those awful Marlins hats.

I think the same thing when I see them. I don't like them. But the TC hat with the Twin Cities uniforms combo is awesome.

Unfortunately, most of the players wearing them definitely aren't.
