Like the Twins, I think most clubs have moved away from the idea that you HAVE to feature a lefty prominently in your rotation.

And if it's less important than they used to think it was, it then makes it seem quite odd how religiously the Twins still adhere to platooning.

Ragans like any other pitcher we face, we will struggle to get base runners . Falling to 3 -8  with another lackluster offensive performance. The pessimistic side of me feels we will be 8–10 games out of first by the end of April. The optimistic side believes the leader in the division will be 5 games under .500 and we will only be 5-6 games behind.

Saw a skeet that Brooks Lee’s rehab is moving up to St Paul. 
 

Saints at home this week but haven’t posted a lineup yet for tonight.
