1) This defense picked off Stroud twice and Love and Rodgers 3x each. It's really good.

2) I'm not overly worried about Darnold's bad game today. It was his worst but it was against a really good defense which also happened to match up well against us and he looked good until Jones was out. Darnold's also only made 6 starts the last two seasons. He's going to have games like this. The bye is coming at a good time but we shouldn't dismiss how hard it is to be 5-0.

3) Our punt ST is horrific. Nearly another muff today, a horrible roughing call, they gave up a huge return that led to points, and they had a stupid penalty that pushed us way back. Just about as bad as they could've been.

4) I didn't think there was anyway our kicker was going to make the 53 yarder in the rain. Wow. I really like him.

5) Lastly, KOC sometimes doesn't make great play calls but I think that's just the nature of his aggressive attitude. But not taking a field goal to go up 13-0 was strange and his calls right before half were really head scratching.

Second week the punt return team helped swing the momentum before the half. This week it was a penalty which was half the distance to the goal. Then we kind of screwed around and had a terrible 3 and out. The the punt coverage team let the big return happen.

And having watched the Twins, and also seeing every team in the NFC north has a winning record, i just want to make sure our record isn't unduly inflated because of how many times we get to play Chicago, is it?
