He's better than Brandon Powell, however, Powell is the punt returner. Though he's not a terribly good one, the Vikings have the 2nd worst punt return average in the league.

It could happen but he wasn't making field on NE's roster so, ugh. But he does fit pretty nicely in the Vikes offense so it's certainly not an impossibility.

With no real veteran WRs I thought he'd be a good fit for NE, but he's pretty strictly a slot guy and so is Demario Douglas. Ja'Lynn Polk probably should be as well. The fact that he couldn't beat out Douglas tells me he's not as good as him, but as is the case, I'm not surprised about Osborn's lack of usage.
