nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Regardless of how this starts, I think the 49ers D is going to make Love’s life miserable in the second half once they’ve got a good read on him.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 If Purdy hands this game to the Packers, he's going to be high on my list of players I resent.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 How are Packers receivers getting so wide open again?

That does worry me long term. There's no determining a receiver hierarchy for them, as there appears to be four that could be the alpha in any given week. And then two tight ends to boot. If there isn't a clear receiver to claim most of the targets, they can probably use that against opponents with some clever game plans. Hosken Bombo Disco 1

I mean, the Vikings might as well trade Jefferson and Addison and just try to hire the whole Packers front office and coaching staff

Been saying Kweisi gotta go. Vikes will lose their grip on 3rd best in NFC Central with him.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 7-6 at half. No idea how this turns out.

Everything else equal, right now, would you rather have Justin Jefferson or Jordan Love?

No matter how talented a reciever is nothing without someone to throw to him. Absent Cousins Vikes have no one to throw to anyone. With their draft position absent a trade they arent getting anyone either. If they had a Love caliber QB they would be in a better position then with Jefferson and the QB's they have without Cousins. nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 Come on San Fran, this is disgusting.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Wide wide wide open Packer again
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Packers at Lions championship game lol, i can see it now
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Vikings and Bears should reassemble to play a game next week too, it will be just like the regular season
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 McCaffery, Kittle and Samuel are pretty old for their positions and their best defensive players are all 27+. It's possible we're seeing the end of this excellent run by the 49ers but just didn't realize it. The Rams could re-take this division next year and not look back until they have to transition QBs.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 My kind of packer D there Hosken Bombo Disco 1
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 I really don't like the way Love has developed the last half of this year.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 What started as a plodding, defensive snoozefest has become a track meet

So my question would be, why was the HOME team slower at changing cleats than the away team? Seems like they should have had a better understanding of their own stinking field! I'm ready to move the 49ers way up my "I hate you for irrational reasons" list.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 I don't even want to contemplate a Lions-Packers NFC Championship. Man, I'm suddenly the biggest Baker Mayfield fan.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 San Francisco is in real trouble. Has Green Bay even punted tonight?

cHawk Community Moderator Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 I’m not going to lie, this Packers team reminds me of the ‘05 Steelers. Hosken Bombo Disco 1

stringer bell Verified Member Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 I think the Niners pull this out, but Green Bay is (already) a team on the rise. nicksaviking 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 BTW, Purdy has not looked elite today. He's missed a bunch of throws.

Not that he's exactly young. The OL isn't young, McCaffery is old for a RB and 7 of their defensive starters will be 27 or higher next year. That's not a kiss of death on defense, but that's peak at best years. And I truly don't dislike Purdy, I just don't think he's "the guy". Certainly could have a fantastic career. He's young though, he could be the guy I'd want two years from now.
