Posted this in Game Thread by Accident--  My Badi     Would rather have seen 2 of the Younger highly Rated guys from St. Paul, Larnach move ? ill live with it No choice But the Fact that Correa and Lewis  both gone and to bring back Luplow better only be that Front office is 100 percent that Royce and  Carlos will be back, Saints are done soon for the Year, why not Juggle whatever roster Manipulating  to give Brooks Lee and Another r.h. bat  top Prospect a week of Pro ball , maybe Martin instead of a Luplow  , what down  side  ??   Got Nothing to lose by doing it , Luplow C,mon  Zero help, , we lose 2 infielders and  bring up 2 Outfielders , the next week or more will all be treated for Rest and getting ready Basically Spring Training all the way ,    i just see zero reason to not be more Creative,    Go Twins

They aren’t adding Lee because he hasn’t dominated or really adjusted at AAA yet and he would need to be added to the 40 man and kept on all off-season which he doesn’t need to be added yet causing and additional off-season 40 man crunch.  Austin Martin doesn’t really help in that with the arm injury and the poor play at SS he isn’t a major league option at 3B or SS so he doesn’t help positionally.  
 

if any 2 of Buxton Lewis or Correa can’t go for the playoffs Luplow maybe on the playoff roster as a RH bat.

Luplow does bring a useful bat against left handed pitching.

His best value might be that the Twins don’t need to be committed to his 40 man spot. It looks like they have an opening for Stewart on the 40 but if they want to add any other player on the 60 IL (Paddack?), they need that spot on the 40. Once Martin is on the 40 they wouldn’t DFA him. The would DFA Luplow if Correa and Lewis return healthy and they want to utilize his 40 man spot.
