Ya'll are delusional if you think either of these trades would be even close to what they would be wanting. Guarantee they would be wanting a MLB starting position player and several A list prospects.

1 year of Alonso will not take a huge prospect load.  He is a first baseman with 1 year left.  Depending on front offices opinion of Raya or SWR,  if it could net us an additional 1st round pick I would definitely consider it.  I am fine with the Twins taking multiple shots at the end of the first rounds on elite pitchers and then build depth in the mid rounds.

For one year of a first baseman? Good luck getting that.

I like Pete Alonso!  I think it will take much more than what you have offered to get him.  Which Twins don’t fit well with unless you are vastly overpaying in prospect capital.

If the Mets would take any of our young extra pieces for him I’d make the deal.  (Extra pieces being Miranda, Larnach, Winder, Woods Richardson Celestino, Prato)

Mets would end up getting Lewis, Julien, Wallner and any other rookie who started Major League game for the past two years, minimum, then favre would come back and win the Super Bowl for the Vikings.

Why would they trade him for secondary pieces? If a team is trading for him they had better have a deal in place for a long term deal. He is a core player for the Mets. This offseason they will sign him to a long term deal. Cohen spent crazy money on old dudes.. he will want to shore up his young core.. I think he learned his lesson.

Which has nothing to do with what they can get if they do trade him....
