The HPB alone might have limited Plouffe, but with that hard collision, I'll be surprised if they don't put him on the 7day concussion list just to be on the safe side.

 

Collabello hasn't played a ton of 3B, but who else could we bring up that could cover at least some IF?

By my count colabello played 116 games at 3rd in the minors. But hasn't played there at all as a member of the twins organization. The last time he played 3rd was 2011

Anyway, yes, Colabello has been called up. Not sure what the corresponding move is, but Plouffe to the 7-day DL is a good guess.

That part is easy-peasy. Since Deduno isn't officially on the roster 'til Friday, they need to clear one spot on the 40-man--that would be Mastro to the 60-day list. Making space for Deduno will be a little more difficult.
