Moran obviously didn't get it done there in the 4th, but I have a hard time defending Gray.  He seemingly didn't have control over any of his pitches tonight.

Yes he didnt look good,  But he gave up 2 runs,  Rocco could of and should of let him start the 5th, its not like Sonnys a rookie, he could of had a 6 pitch inning like the 3rd , or not then switch ,  Gotta at least let him have a chance , one of the worst pitching moves ive ever seen,  , Castro should of been the player removed, Terrible message to your Players Rocco

Apart from Solano's homer, we're again making a pitcher with an ERA north of 5 look like a Cy Young candidate.  That story is getting old and it looks like we still have absolutely no clue in how to deal with it.

Sigh.

If a guy doesn't have it, he doesn't have it. Why keep it going? He was missing badly on all his breaking pitches and was obvious had a difficult time controlling the fastball.  Even if you thought he should get to start the 5th, but come on, the worst pitching move you have ever seen?

So it's a good idea to remove Castro who made a mistake but not another player who is obviously struggling?

I feel like we keeping Detroit in this game.  Even though it's early, I feel like we're gonna let them hang around, giving them a chance to take this first game.  Also, we need to add more runs, and can't shut down the offense.

Well Yeah... It was simple and Elephant phrasing that you only find in baseball.

That and the fact that anything can happen and often does.
