h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Allard slinging the perfect game with only 29 pitches after 3.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Late start out of the crouch? What crouch. Jeffers sits on his ass. No crouch about it.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 And ERA back home in the 8s. 8.34. And the walk scores on a homer, of course.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Dobnak really got screwed by this umpire!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 there goes the perfect game..... and no hitter......
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 If you check the archives from last week, there was an unusually large number of posters, talking up the demise of NC.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Those of you watching on Bally's, have you noticed the blonde in the red dress? Very nice.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 And back under 8 at 7.95. Can Dobnak keep this game in control?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 and of course Dobnak's nemesis of the game is up after the error....
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 I feel good about this inning. Thielbar gets no inherited runners that he can let in.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Don't see much bunting anymore, and the one time you see it, is the wrong time. Gallo's baseball IQ is lacking.

Gallo's baseball IQ is lacking. How was it the wrong time? It just needed to be bunted harder, and past the pitcher. That is the right bunt with nobody on the left side... just get it past the pitcher. Not a soft bunt that the pitcher or catcher could possibly field. Time was OK, but the bunt was not a good one.

Gallo is a homerun threat with one swing . He gets on, the Rangers need a base hit or two, a walk, or error to score the run. I like the odds of Gallo LH getting the long ball vs the RH Thielbar. So the time, with TWO outs is to let Gallo swing away.

The moneyball angle. And I love to see the shift being beat.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Sano wants to be Cruz. Starting with the beard. Maybe he will also lose some weight...... starting to look pretty round again. 290+?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Did that just happen? 1-2-3 inning from Colome? I must be dreaming.

I also advocate for bunting away from the shift but Gallo with two outs is not the time. Gallo isn’t a speedster, which means he requires an XBH to score.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 Buxton’s speed mind-****ed the SS right there.
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS On Saturday, Houston went 3-for-5 and scored two runs. After a short slump, he is now back over .290 on the season. Explore Marek Houston News >
