I didn't see yesterday's game but here is mlb's video on Buxton's five hits.

I had wondered how he got a double and Kiriloff only went from second to third. He also had a pretty routine ground out to the shortstop that was an infield single. Man, he's a player.

As of today, Buxton has more WAR than Mike Trout.  20% more WAR.  If he plays at this pace all year, but only plays 120 games, he would still put up SIXTEEN WAR.  That would put him in the top 10 WAR seasons of all time--all the others are in the 19th century, save Walter Johnson in 1913.  What he's doing right now is simply unbelievable
