It took me 3 hrs to get through the dmv line to get my license renewed ... and 2 of those hours were outside, down the sidewalk for two blocks

 

Oof. I recently moved, and my new state is doing appointment only, so no lines! Yay! Except that appointments are backed up to the point where I had to wait three weeks to get into a branch office more than 60 miles away. Boo!

 

At least I don't have to go back for years...

You got it renewed after driving on the sidewalk for 2 hours? How many pedestrians did you hit? Man, the Illinois driving test seems....lax.

Yeah, some of the dmv centers are closed. I never received a renewal letter so I couldn't renew online ... needed the authorization code. And since all locations here were closed for 2-3 months, and all licenses that expired during that time, and since, have been given a grace period through the end of October. And the last month and a half, they've only been doing renewals of expired licenses and ID cards, or new licenses. But starting tomorrow, they will be doing everything and everyone, so I needed to get in there. But, after I got home today, there waiting for me in the mail was a reminder that I could renew online ... with the authorization code. My license expired in April. But the line was out the door, around the corner and down the street two block.

Yikes, Polanco needed to call Arraez off there. That shouldn't have been a difficult play.

How about Arraez shouldn't have been anywhere near that thing. Sure Polanco should have called him off, but the bonehead play was by Arraez there, not Jorge.

And of course that gets scored as a double, because no play is an error anymore. That counts as an earned run for Clippard.

In his defense he's spent all summer fishing up in Brainerd and the last month holed up in the broadcast booth at Target Field - might as well have been in a bunker!

Adrianza and Donaldson are tied for extra base hits in 2020 at the end of July.

Adrianza will likely surpass Donaldson soon as the Bringer of Rain is injured 1 week into his new contract. Here's hoping it's nothing major....
