The incessant techno music piped into the field between pitches is awful.

Was remarking on this the other day. It's unbearable. At least when the opponents are up to bat you get a break, but when the Twins are batting it's relentless.

 

Who's in the PA booth? Some 39 year-old guy in a Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts trying to play music he thinks is cool with the teenz?

Welp, gotta get up early tomorrow for a trip to the beach or some darn thing to help Mrs Ash get over her cabin fever. So, I'll have to depart now, and leave it to the rest of you to help the bullpen lock this one down.

If I made a Venn diagram for pitchers that compared acceptable velocity with preferred personality, Sergio Romo would be the only pitcher in the league that would fall into the overlap.

What about Sano?  These are the players we tune in to watch.  Last night was fun to watch even though they lost.  Baseball players are softies now a days.
