Grief and pain in our community

People's lives being ripped apart by looters is a "whataboutism"?

The people getting the brunt of it are minorities. What is your advice to the Hispanic family on the Grand Concourse getting their pharmacy?

"Hang in there dude, it was for the greater good of society?"

The looting, rioting and arson isn't that big a deal to a white boy in the suburbs, I suppose. You don't live there or own a business there and apparently you have no compassion for those people who did nothing wrong.

I guess that isn't on topic here. Not part of the "pain"

Two months ago, I moved out of one of the regions burned out.

I know literally dozens of people who still live in those areas, literally upwards of 50 people.

Not a single one of them is mad about the damage. They’re disappointed but they understand why it happened. They’re also helping and donating to many small businesses in the area to rebuild what was lost, as that is our community.

People who live in the affected areas aren’t nearly as angry as you think they are, and definitely not for the reasons you think they're angry.
