biggentleben Verified Member Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 I was incredibly intrigued when I heard about the Twins signing of Kai-Wei Teng in fall of 2017 and once it was announced in December of that year. He's an incredibly intriguing pitcher, and I enjoyed taking some time to watch his work so far this year with Cedar Rapids. Here's my report: https://videobaseballscout.com/video-scouting-report-on-minnesota-twins-rhp-kai-wei-teng/

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Great piece! Very interesting profile on the young man. Thanks!
biggentleben Verified Member Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Another solid start for Teng today: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER (solo HR), 2 BB, 2 K He's no Matthew Liberatore (good Lord, what that young man has done since he came up!), but Teng has taken the ball and gone at least 6 innings in 3 of his 5 starts this season. He's now sporting a 2.33 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and a 9/25 BB/K over 27 innings on the year.
