He may not be as dynamic as Eovaldi, but if healthy, Miller could definitely have the same type of impact on a team. I say we take a risk and hand him a 1yr/$6M deal (with incentives), yeah we could get burned, but I believe the possibility of +150 quality innings is definitely worth it.

There are pitchers who have been better more recently that were non tendered today. Go after some of them first then maybe circle back around to miller

Miller's 4-seam FB spin rate is like 147th in 2018

All FB's checked and he comes in at 187th

 

I don't think those type of numbers fit in the Twins analytical machine very favorably

Only projected for $5 million in arbitration and was non-tendered so price shouldn't be an issue. Just not sure he is healthy. He did return and pitch 22 innings last year. Seems like a reach. But if the guarantee was low enough why not. I say $2 million with reachable incentives based on innings pitched
