darin617 Verified Member Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Any reason for the Twins not to get involved in trade talks with Seattle for Jean Segura? Would be a great addition to the team and could slide Polanco over to 2nd base to fill that hole.
old nurse Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Segura has a full no trade clause. His fairly team friendly contract would have to get renegotiated. It would likely end up a team unfriendly contract. He would likely wait for Machado to sign before approving/renegotiating a contract
tvagle Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 This might be reason to doubt Segura would be a good add
biggentleben Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 This might be reason to doubt Segura would be a good add You mean that he called out Gordon sluffing a ball in center and defended himself when Gordon attacked him in the clubhouse? Yeah, get that guy off my club...
Physics Guy Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Yeah, I don't want a better SS than Polanco who has a low OBP of .341 the past 3 yrs. It all depends on the price. Gordon, Gonsalves and an A ball prospect enough? Much more than that, I say sign Iglesias.

old nurse Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I meant that he may not be a good fit with our little Gordon Gordon would be included in a trade
darin617 Verified Member Posted November 26, 2018 Author Posted November 26, 2018 I meant that he may not be a good fit with our little Gordon Our "Gordon" still has to manage to earn a promotion to the big leagues before we would have to even think about it. I also would hate a guy for calling out a lazy player.
