One of my biggest mechanical pet peeves is his is the crowhop

Crowhops are hair-pullingly maddening but fixable. Arm strength can be more of a limiting factor but can often be improved. It's the elite quick-twitch reflexes and instant acceleration toward the ball that pretty much either is there or it isn't. If he's not getting to balls, that's a bad sign.

I was being sarcastic (and exaggerating a little).

He's too experienced for this league, but I'm generally indifferent to performance the year a player is drafted. It's enough of an adjustment to pro ball and a wood bat that I'm not going to get too excited either way. Next year is what matters.

I did find it humorous when people were jumping in with the negativity because the k/bb rates were a little off after a handful of games.

Call me crazy, but I hope they move Lewis to 3rd sooner rather than later. Gordon seems to be our SS and it seems unlikely Lewis will be staying there long term.

3B would seem to be a waste of his great speed and quickness. I would say either 2B or the OF.

Exactly, 3B would be a complete waste of his greatest attributes.  If he can't cut it at SS his next best move and for the organization would be to CF.

I guess I'm optimistic our OF is set for awhile. If Royce goes to the OF, so be it...I won't be disappointed. I just like the idea of having a great 3rd baseman with range for many years. Obviously we're a ways away...Will be fun to watch him progress and see what happens.
