Yes, when something is important you are more careful.

When my kids were newborns, I was more cautious and aware when carrying them.

I drove more cautiously when they were in the car. It's pretty common, I would imagine.

It didn't take very much self discipline at all, just a small amount of awareness.

 

Most athletes are in team sports with guaranteed money.

I'd imagine you see less of these weird injuries in sports where the money isn't guaranteed if you get hurt.

Yeah I regret saying that about DJ.... It wasn't fair to jump to the conclusion so quickly Taking time to reflect I think it truly was a freak accident. His life has changed, one kid and another on the way.
