Falvey's not a pitching coach, so the expectations from his arrival should be gradual system change rather than immediate tweaks to spring drills.

Gradual change and not making drastic and immediate changes has been the song for this new front office, so why would this be any different? Patience is a virtue and we must trust Falvey - Levine.

Had a good conversation with Neil Allen today after Phil Hughes' start. They'll be some more insight from him on the overall pitching philosophy and direction at some point this week.

The vibe I get and what players have been telling me is that they have been allowed to continue to do their things for the immediate future but the front office does have new concepts they will introduce, potentially to the lower levels first.
