Sans Arcia and Mad Max........ oh and a Catcher to be named later, today's lineup has a feel of our 2018 Game 1 of the World Series lineup.

Sure am hoping for a different starting pitcher that day.

Anyone else feel like Sano is quietly getting his groove back?

The batting average is trending up, the strikeouts are trending down. He's still got a bit of an issue with keeping his emotions well in hand, but yeah, I think you might be right.

If Mollie would just stop torturing him with RF duty, I think that part would completely evaporate.

that JR/Hicks trade has paid huge dividends for us. WOOF,

not scoring more than one there will be costly.

That's twice now the Brewers have chosen to pitch to Murphy with 2 outs, runners on, first base open, and the pitcher due up next.

You don't see that very often.

It's paying off. Kinda like Joe taking walks. If they'll give him the base, he'll take it.

The Brewers will pitch to Murphy, because if he's giving them outs, they'll take 'em.

Buxton... boy, it sure would be nice if he would strike out and fly out less. You've got to imagine he's been instructed to hit the ball on the ground more often.

lessons learned so far:

-It is preferable for a pitcher to strike out 5 opponents than to walk 5 opponents.

-Although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, Ricky Nolasco can serve a purpose.
