Here's your 3rd chance to beat Vegas and you can win a Harry’s Razor starter kit! They were led by Alex Rodriguez's surprising revival to 87 wins and a Wild Card spot , and their season ended just one game later. But even more surprising: the Yankees didn't sign a big free agent this offseason.Vegas’ Line: 85.5 wins

What The Line Is Saying

"On the one hand, this team has a lot of players that could fall off quickly and not a lot of other options. On the other hand, they still have two potential aces atop the rotation and our 81.5 guess last year underestimated them."

They’ll Beat Vegas If…

CC Sabathia and Masahiro Tanaka both have seasons where they are their old healthy and dominant selves AND ARod and Mark Teixeira defy normal aging processes.

If you beat Vegas, you can win a free Harry’s Razor starter set. Just leave a comment with your choice of the “Over” or” Under” and your reasoning. At the end of the season, for each team, we’ll randomly pick one of the winning predictions for a free Truman Razor set.

They’ll Lose To Vegas If…

The Miami-based "Elixir of Life" distributor that is keeping Arod and Teixeira productive is busted in a sting operation. Or Sabathia and Tanaka have not put their troubles behind them.

I’ll Bet The….

UNDER

…but I just don't trust myself with the Yankees. I just hate them so much, it's hard to be objective. But it seems like there is so much more room for bad things to happen to them then good things.

Now it’s your turn. Give us your prediction in the comment section (you’ll need to register first) and you’re automatically entered. We’ll be giving out a free Harry’s Razor Truman Set to one of the winning correct predictions for each team, so we’ll be give away 15 sets of razors! You can also click over to Harry’s Razors and get $5 off on your first order using the promo code ‘gleeman’.

Stop by tomorrow for another change. Or, prior to 4/5/16, you can also enter a prediction for any of the previous teams we’ve covered. Here they are:

AL East

Baltimore Orioles

Tampa Bay Rays

That bullpen is fierce. It's borderline unfair.

With that said, I take the under because I'm skeptical their offense can deliver. Last season, A-Rod and Beltran posted roughly 1000 PAs of .830 OPS ball. Mark Texiera posted roughly 450 PAs of .900 OPS ball.

Those three players are older than dirt. I expect regression across the board with at least one devastating injury mixed in.

It's hard to recover from that kind of loss. I don't think they'll be way under 85.5, maybe 81-83 wins.

Over.

Brock was onto something that their bullpen is borderline unfair. All they need to do is get to the 7th inning with a lead and it's going to be game over.

Their lineup may be old, but these are the Yankees. They could shore up any deficiency in their lineup with a blockbuster trade. I think they finish 2nd in the AL East.

Over

I think Hicks and Castro were nice additions to the lineup. I like what you may see from Gary Sanchez this season that could allow Tex being out to be not a big deal as McCann's bat could be in the lineup more. Castro will provide better than the .190 that Stephen Drew hit last season, and Didi Gregorious and Chase Headley certainly can be better. I think assuming Sabathia holds much bearing on the season is name recognition only, as Sabathia right now is their 4/5 starter. There's enough upside youth and experience alongside of it to have me say over, just a bit.

They already lost Bird, and he wasn't even old. There's definitely upside but with any kind of injury bug they could get thin on power awfully quick. Under for me.

Over.  Bullpen is scary good and it's not like they need full healthy seasons from all the veterans.  I think all they need to do is hit close to potential and they'll contend for a WC spot and over 85.5 wins.

Over. Almost solely on the strength of that bullpen. Though also because they have a couple pitchers who could surprise, and because Aaron Hicks probably reaches All-Star talents now that he's left Minnesota. Such is the way of things.
