Gardy32 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I appreciate the effort on these writeups, but is there a way to get the actual lineup card here? I run a Pick the Stick league here at work and those are really helpful, as I usually find the lineups here before anywhere else.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 Sure, here you go: Twins:Span CFRevere RFMauer CWillingham LFMorneau 1BPlouffe 3BDoumit DHDozier SSCarroll 2B(Deduno P) Orioles:Markakis RFHardy SSThome DHJones CFWieters CReynolds 1BDavis LFBetemit 3BFlaherty 2B(Britton P)
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 I usually try to get the lineup posted three hours before game time. If you don't see it right off the bat, it will probably be coming shortly.

Top Gun Provisional Member Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Matt Capps reported feeling lingering soreness Tuesday in his right shoulder and will see team doctors. Capps just returned from the 15-day disabled list but may need to go back. The Twins will continue to give save chances to Glen Perkins and Jared Burton. Capps can no longer be considered a valuable trade chip for the Minnesota front office.

Are you perhaps cutting and pasting again, without at least giving credit? http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/4296/matt-capps

Top Gun Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 No, I still don't get it, but it is true! Twins placed RHP Matt Capps on the 15-day disabled list with right rotator cuff irritation. Capps made just two appearances since returning from the DL, and he's headed back there after feeling more soreness in his appearance Monday. An MRI will likely be performed before more is known about how long he'll be sidelined. Obviously, he's no longer an option to be moved before the trade deadline. The Twins will continue to give save chances to Glen Perkins and Jared Burton. Source: Rhett Bollinger on Twitter

Hopefully he will recover before the season is over and can be put on the waiver list and be traded to whatever team claims him.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Thome slaps two dongs tonight. BOOK IT.Aside from what Thome might do in the shower after the game, i hope that he strikes out and/or grounds into double plays whenever he bats tonight.

edavis0308 Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Man, Deduno doesn't like to throw much straight.

NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Mauer is getting a workout tonight. Every other pitch has been in the dirt.

glunn Community Moderator Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 At this rate, Deduno will exceed 100 pitches sometime in the 4th inning. If the Twins are far behind tonight, I would like to see Butera on the mound so the bullpen can rest.
heatbeat Verified Member Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I am watching the game on gameday...how did Nick score from first on a wild pitch? Or did I miss something else?
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 That was one of the ugliest 1-run innings I've seen pitched.

IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I am watching the game on gameday...how did Nick score from first on a wild pitch? Or did I miss something else? No, he went to 3rd when Deduno threw a pick-off attempt away at 1st. Then, the next batter, a wild pitch brought him home.
