Indians have signed Twins OF Shane Robinson to a minor league deal.

Oh thank you thank you thank you. I was worried we would sign him and then he starts the year as our center fielder. I am mostly joking, but it is nice that terry lost out on the option. I do think he is a solid 4 th OF, but we would end up starting him to often

Good luck to Shane, with Brantley injured there's a good window for playing time.

 

There were previous reports that the Twins were thinking of bringing him back. With lefties Rosario, Arcia and Kepler in the mix, I think it's almost certain the Twins will be adding a right handed OF bat. Whoever the guy is will play a lot with all those young lefties and there are some real good but unsexy lefty mashers likely available on a one maybe two year deal.
