Florimon was just added to their 25 man roster this afternoon... Old Friend Deolis Guerra was transferred to the 60 Day DL.

Not quite accurate, there is no 25 man roster right now.  Florimon was added back to the 40-man.  (Hey, Guerra pitched for the Pirates earlier this year!  Does that prove "good teams want him around" too?)

Remember back in the old days when there were Sox fans around to argue with?  Apparently, they no longer exist and we are forced to bicker among ourselves.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I would argue that the ugly was behind the plate.  CB Bucknor was horrible...not necessarily biased...just horrible.  What's a strike?  What's a ball? I felt like he was flipping a coin back there.

I'm shocked that no one was thrown out.  We survived a CB Bucknor game!

CB is consistently voted as one of the worst umpires in the league.  Joe West is still at the bottom of my list, but CB could give him a run for it.

Holy crap, you're not kidding.  While Angel Hernandez is my #1 to dislike, Bucknor is right up there probably in the 2 spot.  Speaking from an umpire's perspective (11 years doing HS), you should not be missing pitches over the batter's inside corner because you're standing right there.  CB missed at least 3 by my count last night.  The backdoor curve was mentioned by someone on this thread and he was grossly inconsistent with that pitch.  One inning it was rightfully called a ball and the next inning, the same location made it a strike.  When Duffey was struggling, Suzuki was on the inside part of the plate and the pitch ended up on the outside corner.  But because bad umpires watch catchers' gloves rather than the pitch, they don't call that pitch a strike, even though it catches the plate.  Bucknor is horrible all over the diamond and I wouldn't be surprised to see him be the subject of at least 2 replay reviews over the next 2 games.

According to Brooks Baseball pitch fx, Sale got 7 called strikes that were outside the zone.....which is crazy.  I know it's not an exact science, but that's so much help.
