Shane Robinson and Defensive substitutions

The last 2 games with Baltimore were won by the Twins by 1 run.  As I was listening to the games I was expecting a defensive substitution in the 8th but especially the 9th inning, with Shane Robinson playing in RF or Rosario moving to RF and Robinson in LF.  Both games ended with Tori Hunter in RF.  Shane Robinson did pinch hit for Mauer in Thursday's 15-2 blow-out.  This does not seem to be good defensive game management by Molitor.  Am I missing something here?

Torii hasn't been that bad in the outfield and he is a better offensive player than Robinson. I'm sure it is a judgement call in a close game--does the slight upgrade of Robinson for Hunter on defense make it worth taking out a guy who might be hitting if the game is tied? If memory serves, Molitor thought it was worth it to replace Escobar or Arcia, not so much for Hunter.
