When Will Sano Hit His Weight?

With his second hit tonight (5/23), Miggy's average is now up to .247.  I'm guessing that's still a smidge under his actual body weight.  Naturally I'd like to see his average keep climbing.  But in reality, I'd consider it a successful season if he can at or above current with extra base hits galore.

Honestly, I think he's having a very good season.  You should expect rust but it looks like he needed just two or three weeks to get the swing back -  His krate and walk numbers looked good from the get go.

Frankly, I think we should all be extremely excited about our AA prospects, they are doing great.

he just popped out to the catcher and his current batting ave is .250 which means he needs 10-15 points to hit his weight.

The day Miguel moved in for the 2011 Elizabethton season, he asked if he would get enough to eat at my house.  The other thing he asked translated via Kennys was if I was to old to take care of him.  Oh the summer of Kennys, Eddie and Miguel.

Funny stuff, Madre. As someone who knows/knew Miguel, did you get a sense that he has any concern over his size or diet? I know he's still just a kid, but it's amazing how fast it can switch from controlling your weight to your weight controlling you.

When I saw the subject line I was going to say "no batter has ever hit .500 for a season", but Madre Dos chiming in made me at least think twice, and I repositioned the tone of this post a little. :)

His idiotic agent called me and told me he was only allowed grilled skinless chicken breast and broccoli to eat.  The conversation was not pretty and Miguel, who doesn't like broccoli, never saw a stalk of the green stuff.  I think he was 6'3" and about 230 when he was here.

My biggest concern is why he kept moving his bed around in his bedroom.
