Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 Aren't fruity pebbles just cheerios flavored with synthetic juice???Fruit loops kind of are. Every once in a while I buy a box of crappy cereal … just because … I always regret it, too, but it just looks so tempting in the store … Fruit Loops, Capt Crunch, Lucky Charms … every once in a while.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 YesBoy, it's just scary how much like Chief you are becoming.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Synthetic Juice? You know, like they make synthetic pop at Thanksgiving that tastes like Turkey.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Now that's an efficient inning.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 You know, like they make synthetic pop at Thanksgiving that tastes like Turkey. Now that is something I've never heard of … that sounds like one definite ick!

Cap'n Crunch... I haven't had that in ages... I really want that now.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Now that's an efficient inning.Baseball has such riveting catch phrases.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 You know, like they make synthetic pop at Thanksgiving that tastes like Turkey. Or maybe it is pop that tastes like synthetic turkey.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 You know, like they make synthetic pop at Thanksgiving that tastes like Turkey. What? Jones Soda is Synthetic? It's not Soda squeezed right out of the Turkey?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Cap'n Crunch... I haven't had that in ages... I really want that now.Don't do it, it's been so long you probably forgot how little time it takes for it to turn into the same consistency as goose ****.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Don't do it, it's been so long you probably forgot how little time it takes for it to turn into the same consistency as goose ****. That's when it's the best. Before it sogs out... Those bits are sharp... They can rip up the roof of your mouth. I had to go the hospital with a Cap'n Crunch injury when I was younger.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Which one? Rather a prolific actor. (If i had to guess, do you mean Fight Club?)No, the one where he turns 80 in like a week or something.
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 He's got to read that ball better. That was bad.I disagree. It was almost caught. As a runner, in that situation, it's better just to take the change on getting thrown out at 2B than to have it caught and then get doubled off at 1B (two outs instead of one). But whatever.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Facing the Twins is what left handed pitchers do when they want to get shelled.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 Not me. I'm pretty much addicted to Honey Bunches of Oats w/ Almonds.I prefer Oatmeal Crisp with almonds, made by General Mills. But I don't eat a lot of cereal these days.

Those and Frosted Flakes. The 10 or so times I eat cereal in a year, those will be the ones I eat.

We let Halsey criticize Plouffe... It's become a part of us. Halsey once criticized Plouffe on a Grand Slam... And we were all like... Yeah... Go Get Em Halsey.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Not me. I'm pretty much addicted to Honey Bunches of Oats w/ Almonds. Please tell me... that is made out of Oats and Almonds. I don't trust anything any more... I need to be reassured.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 No, the one where he turns 80 in like a week or something. Ah, perhaps Benjamin Button? Had an opportunity to watch it and pay attention, but i gave it a miss after the first reel, i think. I should give it a second chance sometime...

And we were all like... Yeah... Go Get Em Halsey. 'Tis true. In game threads, it's kind of Halsey's personna. That said, I think Plouffe has earned the right to not be referred to as 'Poof.'

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 I'd be into Lucky Charms... But there is one bad flavor in there and it ruins the experience. What, the marshmallows?
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Is there a way to know what days Bert is gonna be working the games?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 What, the marshmallows? No the Marshmellows are great... It's that other stuff... I'm always picking it out of the bowl and the box and then I'm left with very little to work with.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 I prefer Oatmeal Crisp with almonds, made by General Mills. But I don't eat a lot of cereal these days. i'll have to try that. I don't eat a lot of cereal either but when I do, it's HBO. Unless I'm trying to be good and its cold outside. Then I'll eat Oatmeal.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 Is there a way to know what days Bert is gonna be working the games?I think he's there for most home games, yes? And then doesn't travel to certain places like Detroit?
