After battling injuries each of the last two seasons, I'd like to see what he could in a full season. Does anyone know the nature of his injury? I also am looking forward to seeing how Alex Wimmers can do this season healthy and back in the starting rotation.
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Now that we can guesstimate what the roster will be in Chattanooga and lets assume Kepler can play 1B / DH (only) because of his arm: What's your opening day lineup for the Lookouts (AA) on Thursday? Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 That Lookout pen is better than the Twins.

Without including Gonzalez and Hicks:Team Stolen Base Rate in Careers Buxton 72 for 96 (75%)Turner 7 for 8 (87%)Walker 23 for 28 (82%)Kepler 22 for 26 (85%)Michael 37 for 45 (82%)Sano 28 for 41 (68%)Harrison 12 for 21 (57%)Polanco 36 for 65 (55%)72% team stolen base rateThat is not slow (No matter how you cut it)Plus excellent base runners in terms of reading the ball off of bat, which is more important.

I'm not sure that this proves it, but I agree that they're not a slow team.
lightfoot789 Verified Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Any team with a 72% stolen base rate can't be considered slow IMO
