sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Sano Smash. And 4 runs on 2 hits? That is efficient.
Sarah Verified Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 For anyone else watching on FSN, who is the guy doing analysis with Dick Bremer? I can't place his voice - this is the first spring training game I've been able to watch, been busy galavanting around the ballparks in Arizona. Thanks!

His name is escaping me. I really like the idea of a dual broadcast, one announcer from each team. It's a lot of fun.
Sarah Verified Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Oh that is cool- I like that idea too!
formerly33 Verified Member Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Did anyone else see the jerk behind the plate trying to distract Ryan Pressly? He seemed to think he was real smart, but apparently his idea wasn't good enough.

He seemed to think he was real smart, but apparently his idea wasn't good enough. More concerned with how Pressly is pitching. Right now I wouldn't bring him north.

His name is Ricky Horton, and as Brock said, is the color guy for the Cardinals games. He actually pitched for the Cardinals in the 80's.

I also think this is an excellent idea, especially during spring training. It isn't realistic to expect a broadcaster to be well informed about the other team's minor league system. Anyway, who we playin' tomorrow? Ah, it's the Cardinals again.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Yep, and I believe Horton is going to be in the Twins' booth again tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.
