Gate34 Provisional Member Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Hello. Twins fans since 1961 & a full-season ticket holder since 2 years before Target Field opened---with a "catch". The "full season tickets" are a non-corporate effort in which a group of diehard Twins fans pool their resources and purchase 5-game "shares". We have renewed for the 2015 season. However, two unscrupulous(?) cohorts gave late notice that they are bailing out on the group and we are scrambling to find replacements. (none of us are rich enough to pick up the slack, hence this notice) Apparently a 4th 90-loss season wore them down. The seats are in section 104, row seven. (first base side) And a 5-game share costs $405. If you would like to buy both 5-game shares, of course that would be twice the cost. Your payment would be a check directly made out to the Twins (not to me!) They're great seats. If interested and/or you have questions, please email me at jmr202@yahoo.com

Not trying to scare anybody away, just making sure we're clear in this regard. For all I know, this offer is completely legitimate and awesome.
Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 So is a "five-game share" a pair of tickets to five games or a single ticket to five games? I feel like the answer is obvious, but it's not clearly stated...

REPETE Provisional Member Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 We do the exact same thing in Section 118, and lost 3 people to the 90+ loss seasons. Luckily, we found one new taker right away, and found 2 people in the last 2 weeks. Our old Season Tix Rep (Kelcey McKean) was going to assist us in finding people to join us, but then left. But I'd suggest contacting your rep, and asking them to assist you. They have the lists of people that dropped their whole package, but may be interested in 5 or 10 games.

If we need people next year, is this OK?

If we need people next year, is this OK?Yep, no worries at all. You might want to give a moderator or admin the heads-up before posting, though. We have no issues with users posting things that other users might want, we simply don't want the boards to become full of spam "trade/buy" posts. If we get to that point, we can create a trade/buy thread on the forum, though.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Wow the twins ticket sales team has gotten desperate these days!
Platoon Verified Member Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I have a 1987 Yugo for sale, which my mother only drove on days that ended with the letter "y"! Actually none of this is true, but I could not help myself. It's Friday and I am in a weird mood. It must be the polar eclipse!
