Byron Buxton had two hits for the Salt River Rafters in a 6-3 win over Scottsdale on Wednesday. He also had two fielding errors. Max Kepler had one hit, a stolen base and an outfield assist. Pitcher Jake Reed earned the win, throwing two innings of scoreless relief, with four strikeouts.

In Tuesday's season-opening game, Buxton went hitless, while teammate Eddie Rosario had two hits and a RBI.

It's hard not to get overly excited about Jake Reed, continuing his outrageous dominance by striking out four of six batters in two innings, then being described as filthy by his manager.
