ashbury Verified Member Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 (Once you could embed video into a post, can that still be done?)You can. Click on the "Special BBCode" icon in the editor, it's the greenish square on the top row third from the left when you are replying to a post. Select "Media" in the dropdown menu, and enter the URL in the lower box labeled Media URL. Alternatively, just enter the URL as text, then surround it with text in square brackets saying "media]" and "[/media]". (I left off the first opening bracket there, otherwise it would be taken as something to embed. Catch 22. ) Here's the result: http://youtu.be/FA4yYxaVvP8
davidc3915 Verified Member Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I was totally behind the Royals, maybe because subconsiously I thought they had no chance. Now with every win, I'm kind of at the point where every Royal related thought that comes into my head also comes with the accompanying depressing thought, "The Royals have won more playoff games than the Twins in the last decade!?" and "The Royals have won more playoff series than he Twins in the last decade!?" It's going to get dicier if those thoughts become, "The Royals have made it to the WS more recently than the Twins ?!" and "The Royals have WON the WS more recently than the Twins ?!" Go Royals?I couldn't agree with your sentiments more. I would be 100% behind KC, but then that feeling of envy/anger that it's them and not the Twins creeps in.........

Sarah Verified Member Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I was rooting for the Nationals...darn it. Denard definitely didn't help them much. I was rooting for both the Orioles and Royals so will enjoy watching the ALCS. Giants and Cardinals...meh. Go AL!
Steven Buhr Verified Member Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 You know what? I was really struggling to decide who to give an edge to in my heart between the O's and Royals and nicksaviking brought clarity to the issue. I'll be rooting for whichever AL team makes it to the WS, but for the ALCS, I'm now leaning solidly toward the birds!
