DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Should be easy enough to get from the Nationals, I say bring him in, let him play some RF and 3B. Nothing to lose, and he could add some awesome veteran presence as a proven winner and someone who has all the intangibles as well. Plus he is better than these scrubs we have been getting off the waiver wire. Get it done Jerry Ryan!

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 This team has enough vets taking up playing time. Bottom dwellers have no need to trade for broken down veterans at the end of their career. Playing time needs to be set aside for young players.

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 Like Ben Revere.....why isn't he leading off and playing everyday up here while Morneau is disabled?Perhaps his lack of ability to hit like a major leaguer has something to do with it?
spideyo Provisional Member Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Hasn't kept Plouffe or Valencia out of the lineup....
The Greatest Poster Alive Provisional Member Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Like Ben Revere.....why isn't he leading off and playing everyday up here while Morneau is disabled?Because Span is twice the leadoff hitter Revere is (and probably ever will be)
