I saw this little blurb on the site I take the lineups from:

Oswaldo Arcia is out on the field testing out his ankle after he sprained it on Thursday.

Then there was this:

Update: Oswaldo Arcia said his sprained ankle feels better and he could possibly play Saturday.

That doesn't sound very encouraging. If it's a high, inside ankle sprain (not sure that it is), this might take a while. I'd prefer a Kirk Gibson slugging gimp in the DH slot over Santana, though.

Kubes!

In fairness to Gardy, Kubes is 2 for 3 with 2 HRs and 5 rbi against Kuechel. If Kubel is going to be allowed to consume some of the oxygen in the Twins dugout, he needs to be in the lineup against this guy.

OTOH, if he doesn't rake tonight, it should be Kube's last stand.

Today's hypothetical question: What would be the result of a Kubel at bat against Correia?

I'll play____Kubel vs Correia = Kuechel squared
