Mike Pelfrey's best role with the Twins is being the guy Glen Perkins "punked" during the NCAA tourney. I like Big Pelf (The little Sasquatch) and I hope he can turn it around.

 

That being said, I think Hicks getting sent to concussion DL is bigger concern. The OF will be stretched thin this evening. Hopefully the position player recall is someone with some defensive ability in the OF.

  Fryer could be another option with Herrmann treated as pure OF while Fryer is up.

Just think, we could have a lineup that has Fryer, Herrmann and Suzuki all playing and Gardy can still have a backup catcher on the bench!

It would be kind of cool if they had Florimon start catching. Who else could claim a five C roster? I mean, if you want to be interesting then you gotta do more than buy a bad hat.
