Aaron and John talk about braving the blizzard in the name of podcasting, Anthony Swarzak's horseplay, Scott Diamond's setback, the Twins' pitching curse, Joe Saunders choosing "dollars and years" somewhere else, where the Twins' farm system ranks, reaching 500,000 downloads, bad mug shots, The Voice of Reason's evil twin, Lifetime Hockey's annual camp, and drinking vodka like water. All content was originally published at Kevin Slowey was Framed! I figured out how the Twins could win a baseball championship. However, I don't want to waste anyone's time, so this theory falls quite a bit short of reality. If you want realistic baseball analysis, I have been writing about some Twins-related players in the last couple weeks, and you can read about them here: Joe Saunders signs with the Mariners Matt Capps signs with the Indians Kevin Slowey signs with the Marlins Delmon You
Originally published at The Tenth Inning Stretch ---- This is my second annual food guide to Fort Myers and the third and last in the series of the 2013 Guides to Fort Myers that include the logistics guide and the baseball guide. The first was more of a culinary guide, pointing out what are the local foods, and pointing out places you can sample them. That guide is still very relevant and you can find it here. This one is a little different than last year's. It is a more traditiona
The Minnesota Twins have been rated as having one of the best farm systems in the MLB (#2 by ESPN). While the past few years have been abysmal and sad, thanks to Bill Smith's leadership, the future is beginning to look very bright. In this article we will take a look at the projected lineups, defensive alignments, and pitching rotations of the years to come and compare them with projected stats to last years team as well as each other. There is a lot to be said for the vision that our current GM
This is off-topic, but if you grew up around the same time period as me, you know what happened after the summer Little League games. You went to a sleepover and you watched a scary movie. Probably one where a guy with a mask and a sharp object chased teenagers around the woods. Like the song says, they just don't make 'em like that anymore. UNLESS . . . Slasher Studios is looking for a few more donations to fund their movie Don't Go To The Reunion, and they could use a few bucks from a

Also joining us is MLB Fan Cave applicant, Michael McGivern (@McGive_It_To_me, www.McGiveItToMe.blogspot.com), to discuss h
I haven't had much time to go through the forums and blogs as much as I like to with the new baby on board, I do get a chance on my smartphone during my lunch every day to read TwinsDaily, and I read the Star Tribune. I have to say right now there isn't much good going on in "loserville". As quoted from most of the KFAN guys, which I can't blame right now, nothing is going right. Wild can't get things together, the Gophers are showing who they really are, the Timberwolves aren't fun to watch,
Aaron and John talk about Super Bowl festivities, breaking down the other four teams in the AL Central, last week's star-studded Twins Fest get-together, Matt Capps staying in the division, Aaron's chances with Kate Mara, feeling sorry for Carl Pavano, Dave St. Peter's dimples, the latest on Joe Saunders, meeting people from Twitter, "IAMACEO" by Starflyer 59, and the beauty of Andrew Dice Clay. Originally posted at k-bro's baseball blog In less than a week, the Twins will officially open Spring Training camp. As of now, 66 players are expected to be there: 34 pitchers, 9 catchers (a lot of catchers needed for a lot of pitchers), 13 infielders, and 10 outfielders. There are a lot of bodies (I imagine the locker room might be a tad crowded), but there are also a lot of holes from 2012 to be filled. By the end of it, there will be 25 men ready to head north and face the Tigers on April
http://nimg.sulekha.com/sports/original700/ron-gardenhire-2009-8-7-23-41-44.jpg The last 10 years as a Twins fan have been, for the most part, highly enjoyable. Yes, the last two years have been awful and we all wish our nine would have played better baseball in October. That doesn't change the fact that in my opinion Gardenhire deserves more clarity then what he's been given. I'm not writing to petition for a three year contract extension for the guy. If the Twins want to make a change I

I am not a follower of Donald Trump. I have participated in several no kings rallies and am disgusted with what he and his followers have done to our country and the world. I would like to know what most Brazilians feel about the United States now and about the folks our citizens have elected to represent us.
