  1. It's when you get whacked in the head and then think you're a first baseman.
  2. So, if Josh Bell is wearing an AARP on his jersey, does that mean he is really old?
  3. Especially when even our mediocrity is very mediocre.
  4. And, the stripey kitties bought him BEFORE they knew the results of the Skubal arb. hearing, hmmmmm.
  5. Damn, stolen from right under our noses by those dastardly Tigres.
  6. Manchild Valdez is probably not a good fit in our clubhouse. Ask the catchers.
  7. Want to know if the Twins are dealing? Better call Zoll.
  8. Shelty will have his work cut out for him to bring together a competitive team this year. I'm just hoping that includes at least some inspiring baseball to watch this summer otherwise it could be a dreadful baseball season around here.
  9. The State of Minnesota might consider a new slogan: "Minnesota, what a mess."
  10. Jeremy Zoll is the GM and will be the GM, no change there. Shelton is ok.
  11. I was thinking the same thing but didn't say it. The reason it seems plausible is the way Lewis was moving around the last 2 months of 2025; he looked faster and more agile. Lee played pretty good defense at 3B when he played there before, and maybe the reduced defensive stress would help him offensively, but thats a guess on my part.
  12. Sabato looked like he was going to be a total bust until last year, so the fact that he's gotten to the point of getting a spring training invite is kind of amazing. Who knows, maybe he'll be the 2026 Sire of Fort Myers.
  13. Taylor Rogers was one of our "starter" arms in the minors that transitioned to the bullpen for the Twins. Can't hurt to have that direct experience with this group of young arms possibly facing the same type transition.
  14. The lead photo is a curious capture in time. Didn't he used to have fingers on his pitching hand?
  15. The Derek Falvey prayer: "I'm a General Manager, but I can change if I have to... I guess."
  16. I think the experience they are giving Culpepper at 2B and 3B is more about gaining some comfort at those positions in case he is needed there more than moving him off the shortstop position.
  17. I think the article was more about Culpepper making himself ready for some possible Major League experience in 2026, not so much being a savior or big ticket player.
