With Eades on the DL does that open a spot for Wells or Barnes to move up?
  2. 108Stitches
I actually agree with this list far more than the official Twins Daily list.

Thorpe looked awful. Kirilloff looked very poised

This. It is NOT natural for a still growing person to throw that hard. The growth plates and ligaments are still tender. In nearly every single case of young flamethrowers they will need TJ eventually.

Same with Wells. It is TIME to challenge these guys. Not a lot of call ups or send downs happening

Brady Anderson was overdue for release. And what is happening to Tyler Watson? And it FEELS like Sano is starting to get it back... just a little anyway! Welcome to FM Moran!

@caninatl04 Wells has 4 solid pitches , in fact he already has 3 very good pitches- a fast ball they can’t seem to square up on very well at all, ridiculous curve, very good slider, and just “good” change up. You obviously haven’t seen him play much.

Jax has a lot of potential but I haven’t seen the stud they promised he’d be thus far. Albeit it’s a small sample size because he just got back.

Regarding Wells promotion. Marzi is 0-7 with a 7 era and is still there. Yes he had a great strikeout game with 11k in 5 but that doesn’t win games. I think it’s time to swap spots with someone with a 5+ era and get Wells a shot to see if he can continue his dominance in every level he’s been in. He is at the top or near the top of every league he’s been in for ERA and Whip and average against. I saw the ETA is 2020 but if he continues I don’t see why we couldn’t get a peek in 2019 in the bigs.

Enlow is pitcher of the day? I would think a perfect game into the 6th inning with the first 16 sat down and 8k is more deserving.

Are you sure you didn’t mistake the last set of guys with this set? Personally I take Wells and Jax over Jay and Stewart all day any day.
  12. 108Stitches
    Oh.
  13. 108Stitches
Seth, are these player of the week/month the official awards from the big club or from Twins Daily only?
  14. 108Stitches
How long does Wells have to keep being at the top of every league he’s in before he gets to be a top 30 MLB team prospect?
  15. 108Stitches
I honestly don’t know what they are waiting for with Wells. Other guys who were promoted aren’t exactly killing it and well, there’s Enns
  16. 108Stitches
    Breath is good.
  17. 108Stitches
Get rid of him and call up Wells or Barnes to Chat
  18. 108Stitches
    Why do we keep Enns?

    Why do we keep Enns?

Sano is truly perplexing. I like Carrier too. A lot of potential but he’s gotta get it figured out. Tyler Wells gets a pass from me on that first inning after only 2 innings in the ASG in two weeks. Probably a bit rusty at first but he settled in very nicely afterwards to his usual self. And yeah no Ben Rortvedt call out? He is a beast this year and waaayyyy better than last season. But the theme here is WTF SANO!?
  21. 108Stitches
I often wonder if the front office ever just thinks “f*** it, lets throw some minor guys up here and see what they can do!?” How much worse could they do!
  22. 108Stitches
Wells is leading the league in WHIP and 2nd in ERA. Time for a promotion?
  23. 108Stitches
When you look up “great days in Twins baseball” it ain’t gonna be this date.
  24. 108Stitches
I legitimately believe Tyler Wells will be in this rotation. At some point. Too much upside
  25. 108Stitches
Something in the water with the Tyler W’s!
