  1. Tyler Wells needs to be in the top 30 now. He has proven himself over and over again. And we still have Lachlan in the top 30 and the guy hasn’t played in 9 months or something. And frankly Tyler is substantially better in every metric. Seems the only guys who make top 30 are guys who they have a lot of money into. Otherwise, when people like non bonus guys like Jimmy Kerrigan EARN it, people go “Why did he get a promotion, he’s not even a top prospect”.
  2. Congrats to Tyler Wells and Jimmy Kerrigan for Florida state league pitcher and hitter of the week! Crazy that both PoW are on the same team...and are in last place. Hopefully Wells can repeat his last two outings tomorrow. Gonsalves is ready for a shot guys, what are they waiting for?? Why is he still in AA?
  3. Wells rocking a .57 whip. Leads the league. And Kerrigan batting over 400 still. Impressive as hell.
  4. He is 23, the exact average age of A+. So I am not sure where this "age vs level" thing is coming from. I suppose if you're comparing his age to top 3 rounders at this level, then yeah, by a year or 2. But everyone knows he was a bargain and should have gone top 10, but he missed some time his junior year of college. Either way, he's damn good and if he stays healthy he will be a top prospect. I don't know if I have seen such smooth, repeatable mechanics on a 6'8" guy before. It's exciting though. Andy Pettite was a 22nd rounder. Late bloomers are my favorite! I just love their underdog, watch my prove it mentality. I like Andrew Vaquez and Poppen for this reason too
  5. I watched the Cedar Rapids game and listened to the miracle. Nice to see Royce get going! And Kirilloff stayed pretty good too. Tyler Wells is an absolute stud. I can’t believe he’s not in the top 30. He’s an incredibly intimidating looking guy, and looks WAY more buff than last season. He was consistently 93/94 mph, and was absolutely dominant. Again. Wells doing Wells things. He’s back up to 11k/9 already. Do you think he will get to Chattanooga by the break if this trend keeps up?
  6. Doesn’t matter who did what defensively. If you can’t score you can’t win. Offensive loss here
  7. Hoping Kiriloff gets his mojo back soon. I know it has to be very tough missing that much time. But I am confident he will get there by May
  8. Whats the going prediction for when Gonsalves will get his debut in the show? Really like this kid a lot. (I know, get in line, right?)
  9. Whitefield has REALLY been impressive. Seems like all the pitchers were getting their feet wet. Didn’t seem like there was many games in ST for them to get their innings in. Wells didn’t strike out everyone like usual, but one thing that sticks out to me is they can’t square up on him. Almost no hard hits. Just some seeing eye grounders and bloops. And TONS of foul balls. 1er in 4ip in the season debut at a new level is JUSSST fine.
  10. Oh I have to give credit to Lewis Diaz too. He’s lost a good bit of weight. Looks real good. I think the Miracle are gonna be good. Maybe not CR good, but good
  11. Gonna predict that Wells, Vasquez, Hackimer are in Chattanooga by May. Wells looks amazing. A real physical transformation. And from what I hear, the club is really high on him. Vasquez also
  12. Can't win if you can't score. Tough way to end for the Kernels and the Miracle. But both should be very proud. Tommy Watkins and Doug M did an amazing job.
  13. Really liking Kerrigan. Great bounce back for Tyler Wells. Back to the double digit k/9. And Diaz should be called Double Deez (leads the league in doubles). What a tough way to end the year for the Miracle. And I agree, the 2016 draft class, particularly the mid to late rounders have been great!
  14. Brutal night for Tyler Wells. Very unlike him. Lucky for him the offense had his back. Great wins for the Kernels, Wings and Lookouts!
  15. Gotta go with Wells. It's his Birthday! Why does it seem he gets very little run support on most of his outings? Pretty weird.
  16. Ok so I saw a tweet this morning that Tyler Wells has the 6th highest strikeout percentage in ALL of minor league baseball. And today he is activated and sent to the GCL? Why would they do that?
  17. Great to see Carrier getting it back. Never easy to get sent down but it sure does help the confidence. The kid can hit if he keeps his head right.
  18. Why do You say Tyler Wells is overage? He's the exact average age for the Midwest league, and soon he will be in the Florida league where he is going to be average there as well.
  19. Call up the Beek! And glad to see Tyler Wells back. And striking out 2 per inning. That boy can get strikeouts at a crazy high rate.
  20. They probably looked at Stewart's numbers! 30bb to only 33k in 52 innings. I'd pass too. Nothing against him personally but I just do not get why this guy is rated so highly.
  21. Umm Tyler Wells is the EXACT average for the Midwest league. Age 22. I swear some people act like they're playing against little leaguers so they shouldn't be considered good.
  22. You missed the most important stat. The only stat that matters: sexiness.
