    Um and plenty of those guys get national attention if they're a bonus baby even in A ball. That's my point. And to say hundreds of players a day have stellar outings is just ridiculous.

    It's sad that Poppen gets no real widespread recognition for this performance. If Kohl Stewart or Griffin Jax had done this it'd be front page on milb.com. Hell if a bonus baby even does a mediocre job it pops up on my Facebook from milb. The middle round draft guys who are doing better than high round guys are more impressive to me. Poppen, Wells (when he's playing) Beeker, Vasquez and a few more.

    Tyler Wells named Minor League Player of the Week and then goes to the DL. Talk about tough breaks! Luckily it doesn't sound too serious and he should be back soon.

    Just because drugs and alcohol is a SELF INFLICTED problem for many people means nothing. He should be given special treatment because he has a problem that MOST others don't? BS

    Still don't understand why Jax is ranked in the top 30... he hasn't done anything and what he did do (8.2 innings) wasn't exactly lights out impressive.

    When do these moves usually happen? I heard several weeks after the draft because it's a logistical challenge moving and releasing people. I am Particularly referring to the lower levels

    Saving a weeks worth of runs for one game isn't usually a strategy I would recommend but it sure made for an exciting finish

    Awesome!!! Utter GEM by Wells (why isn't he a freaking all star again?) and a ridiculously ballsy steal of home plate by Blankenhorn. I don't recall seeing that one before. And just saw Beloit helped us out by winning. Come on boys get those bats moving tomorrow and lock it up!

    Seth how come Well and Davis didn't make the All star team? Jaylin leads the league in home runs and Wells is 3rd in the league in Ks but has nearly 20 LESS innings the leaders

    Kernels are on the struggle bus all of the sudden. Hopefully tomorrow they can muster more than just one hit for Wells this time.

    Bring up Rortvedt lol. He will call the curve and yell at him for shaking it off! I agree with everyone else, if pitch selection is the main issue, FIX IT. Maybe he's throwing less strikes with the curve but it's better than 473 ft bombs.

    Missed three weeks and is back in the top 5 in the LEAGUE in strikeouts. So fluid and easy too. Hope he stays healthy
