I think he’s still rehabbing from TJ. Kinda hard to go to the show when you haven’t faced a live batter yet but yeah. I get it. Lol
  2. 108Stitches
Agreed. Saw him throwing on his Instagram, and he is absolutely jacked. Looks like a beast.
  3. 108Stitches
Not sure how anyone can consume the “news” and consider themselves realists. The news is anything but real.

I just became a Padres fan. Anything less than what they’re doing is absolutely ridiculous. To pay your minor leaguers through the season is a couple of million dollars tops. That’s nothing. To hell with any owners who don’t do this.

Steamer is a joke. They have Tyler Wells with an ERA nearing 6 every year and he’s got a career 2.82. They only care about draft position
  6. 108Stitches
Prediction: Alcala will not last in the big leagues. Sorry. I know most people are very high on him. I just don’t see it. And that 5.29 ERA in AA makes me scratch my head how he even got to the bigs.
  7. 108Stitches
I just hope nobody snatches up Tyler Wells. Because frankly, he’s better than all of these guys. He’d most likely already be on the 40 man if he hadn’t had TJ.
  8. 108Stitches
I think you have to protect Tyler Wells. He was just too damn good before his TJ surgery. Most others I agree with though.
  9. 108Stitches
Talk to an MLB pitcher privately... he’ll tell you the balls were juiced no doubt.
  10. 108Stitches
Get the academic eggheads out of baseball. They’re over experimenting and overthinking the game.
  11. 108Stitches
Remember, most of these are about what they THINK a guy should do and what he ACTUALLY does isn’t given nearly as much weight. Hence why Alcala is in the top 20 with nearly a 6 era in his entire time in this .org. It doesn’t matter who has more tools, it matters who is getting the job done. Maybe it’s just me.

Alcala is way too high (again). He’s simply not that good.. but everyone loves the velo. He doesn’t know how to pitch. I called this in the beginning of the season. And he’s back to rocking an unimpressive 5.65 era. And I still maintain he ends up a pen guy.
  13. 108Stitches
Honestly Wells has blown away every level. Gets better every level up. If not for this horrible timed TJ bs, he’s probably be pitching in the majors by now.
  14. 108Stitches
Just wanted to say I called it about Poppen. *humbly smiles with pride
  15. 108Stitches
    I bet Royce is pleased.
  16. 108Stitches
You’d be a moron to send Arraez down.
  17. 108Stitches
I had a feeling Wells was much worse than we were told. That SUCKS. Title says it all..... literally bring the ambulances
  18. 108Stitches
Wahoos pitching staff is human after all! Who knew??
  19. 108Stitches
Graterol has that King Felix vibe to his pitching. Love it.
  20. 108Stitches
Vlad Jr blew up. He legitimately needs to lose 50-60 lbs. His diet will certainly contribute to injury.
  21. 108Stitches
Can we take a moment to collectively vent about how GOD AWFUL the new MiLB First Pitch App is!?? They absolutely ruined it.
  22. 108Stitches
just a few weeks behind due to strain in the beginning if ST. Will be back in a couple weeks from what I gathered
  23. 108Stitches
Told you Thorpe didn’t look good at all in ST. Most overrated prospect in this org.
  24. 108Stitches
Not accurate on the velo. I’ve personally seen Poppen hit 96 and he sits 92-93. But fair enough on the other points. However Alcala is almost 24 had a FIP of 6.02 in AA albeit only 20 innings but much better in Houston with 3.35 in 40 ip
  25. 108Stitches
Alcala won’t stay a starter. He just doesn’t have starter consistency. Could be a great bullpen guy though. If Alcala is still in a starting role by september I’ll buy everyone a beer. Enlow had a very rough opening night. Hopefully he gets it together. I think he’s a bit over ranked if I’m being honest. Still shocked Poppen isn’t in this mix. Wells is very underrated but Poppen takes the cake for no love. Barnes and Moran are my ones to watch. Really like Moran in the pen.
