  1. Sorry. I know it's not a big deal, but the election was Tuesday November 8th, 2016
  2. Think you may have meant the 8th, but oh no, she was "celebrating". There's a reason why she couldn't make it to the stage
  3. To be fair, she "celebrates" daily.
  4. Back when both played for the Beloit Snappers I made the bold argument that Eddie Rosario would be more valuable to the Twins than Miguel Sano. For this season at least, it looks like I have a shot of that being right.
  5. Eddie is having one hell of a year
  6. I agree Baddoo was a surprise. I written him off as a looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane type. Like what both him and Miranda showed this year. Jax seems like he could have been a quick riser if not for the military commitment. Thorpe made himself a top prospect again. Blankenhorn took a step back and Cabbage is almost done.
  7. Rangers have a half game on them now
  8. We signed Carlos Aguiar. Mauro Bonifacio will be signing elsewhere. Both were receiving late interest from other teams
  9. Nice. Where was he sitting? Didn't see him. No one overly impressed last night.
  10. Was at Cedar Rapids. Weird play where Blankenhorn was on 1B. Ball went in the dirt and Travis stole 2B. Catcher threw the ball to center field and Travis advanced to 3B. Next batter comes up and they throw the ball to 2B but once again it goes into center field and Travis takes home. They then tag 2B and the ump calls Travis out for never touching the base. I'm not sure how that's even possible considering he slide into the beg initially. Correction; game was only delayed 45 minutes. Not over 90. Sammons pitched well. The snappers were behind on his pitches all night. I think he has potential as a reliever. Royce didn't really do anything at the plate and wasn't challenged much in the field. There was one play where he initially made a great defensive stop but then dropped the ball. If he would have finished it, there was a chance he had a double play. Ball must have been wet because sammons dropped the ball when the next batter hit it back at him. Blankenhorn had a nice game. Bigger than Punto but I could see him as a hard working utility guy in the bigs. Player of the game for sure. Had a hard hit ball to right center and had a stand up triple. He also had a tremendous over the back catch on a blooper, narrowly missing colliding with the RF. Diaz had a hit and looks the part. Don't have too much to report there. Beloit is still a dump. I think I got there at 6:15, it sprinkled for 5 minutes and they had the game delayed 45 minutes mainly because the crew of 1 didn't have the field ready yet.
  11. Most bizarre play I've ever seen. Ball in the dirt, blankenhorn slides into and steals 2B, takes third when the ball gets thrown into center. Beloit throws the ball to 2B again for whatever reason and it is overthrown and goes into center and blankenhorn takes home. They they tagged 2nd base and call him out. Say he never touched 2B even though he slid into the bag.
  12. Royce Lewis is starting. It's sprinkling out so they pushed the start time back 30 Minutes
  13. Checking in from Beloit. Hopefully I'll have video up tonight
  14. Looking to head to Cedar Rapids game tonight. Will get some video of Royce Lewis if he plays. Looking to see when I'll know if he's playing or not
  15. Ill take the over. Like how the schedule plays out. Id put everything I have on it
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong but he looks like he has a frame of a 3B. Could possibly be an oversized 2B too. I like him at 3rd when Sano has to move over to 1B.
  17. For as many pitchers we've used, I think Seattle mariners have used more. They are at around 37. They are also chasing the Rangers pitchers used record (40) as well as their overall players used (60).
  18. Where do you think wander Javier would have gone in the draft had he been draft eligible this year? Top 5? Top 10?
  19. What a defensive play by Royce Lewis. Seems like he should stick http://m.milb.com/video/1772369383/?vref=redirector
  20. How did Curtiss look? Heard he has incredible stuff. He's 19 because he's older and a relief prospect. I wouldn't look into that too much for a reliever
  21. It's amazing. He makes plays look so easy. I'm still not sure if he needs to jump at all the balls he does or if it's because it's so smooth that it looks like he could make the catches without jumping. He's got unreal speed. I can't even imagine all the runs he's prevented directly and indirectly
  22. 10 home runs in 128 at bats in the Florida state league is incredibly impressive. Isn't it known to be a pitchers league? Just trying to look at some of our power hitters in the past: Justin morneu hit 4 homers in about 190 at bats though only 20 years old Miguel sano hit 16 in 206 at bats so about the same clip. He was also 20. Brian Dozier hit 7 home runs in 500 at bats at age 23-24. Max Kepler hit 5 homers in 400 at bats age 21-22 Lamonte wade hit 4 homers in 110 at bats last year at age 22 Rooker is 22. Unfortunately don't have a ton of college guys to compare him against but I think it looks promising
  23. Ends up he threw a 1 hitter, giving up the winning home run in the 10th to lose
  24. I would give them Kohl Stewart, Lamonte Wade, and Alex Kiriloff for him? Maybe throw blankenhorn. Would that be enough?
