    For the games that I have been to, the loudest cheers at the lineup announcement have been for Tortuga and Byron. Jose has been getting the big cheers when he comes out of the game.

    I was busy early in the day and didn't turn on the game until the 6th. Yanks scored a run to make it 5-1. I had to turn it off. I was thinking to myself that we would find a way to blow it. Forgive me, but I am weak. I did manage to turn it back on for the ninth. Happy. Happy Happy. Chicken on the grill tonight.

    Normally I hate the scoreboard and loudspeaker inducements to make some noise (end grumpy old man rant), but there are LOTS of kids here at the park. They scream at the prompts. That and a 6 run inning are making this really, really fun.

    So. I flip on Cory and Danny and the good guys are up 3 zip. I open up TD and read through the Game Thread. Getting to 3-0 was not easy, apparently. Lots’o complaining about no early offense. #Shut out last night, I guess. Now up 4-0. I’m turning in since my alarm is going off at 3:15. Keep the faith boys and girls. I want to wake up to your chicken dinners tomorrow. See you at Target Field tomorrow afternoon.

    Apropro of nothing really but Provus on the radio just pronounced St. Olaf as “Ol-off” not “Ol-uff”. Not a native, doncha know.

    I think it was Sogard in the 6th that smacked a double off the wall. Kep played it perfectly and might have had a play at second except that Polanco and Adrianza were both far off the bag.
