    Anyone catch Morris' entertaining story about the lengths the Cleveland Indians went to to stop him and the Tigers? He claims that they watered down the ground between the plate and the mound. Otis Nixon and Bret Butler bunted to lead off the game and then he "accidentally" hit Kenny Lofton with a pitch and then they stopped dropping them down. I don't think there was a single fact in the whole story - aside from the fact that he pitched in Cleveland.

    I imagine someone might take DanSan off the Twins hands in a throw-in scenario ... as in they'll take him if the Twins throw in a plane ticket for him.

    Can we start referring to this as the "SantanaS trade rumors"? Maybe if we start talking about their collective greatness and the intangibles they bring to the table somebody else's Terry Ryan will take the bait.

    I liked Larkin when he'd fill in once in a while. Would like for him to be around more. Hell, I'd even prefer a return of Coomer. I also can't get enough of TK calling Dick "Richard." But I'm guessing the fact that he doesn't fart organizational rainbows about every crap player they bring in probably doesn't sit well with the brass.

    Seriously, listening to Roy fawn all over Tommy Milone and justifying why he's taking starts away from Berrios is making me ill. And the fact that he basically admitted it's all spoon fed to him from Ryan is even more disgusting.

    Given how well Berrios is pitching, how bad the team is and how absolutely dreadful Milone has been, I imagine he's on his last leg. Bad start tonight probably means he's on bullpen duty until the break and then looking for work shortly after. If he somehow manages to not fail, he might get another shot. It has to be pretty close to "give us one last reason" point at this time for him.

    I think Dick just compared Sean Manaea to Tommy Milone. Coincidentally, Ryan just called the Oakland front office and asked if Manaea will be available for trade in 4 years.

    Luckily I don't think he can be optioned anymore ... DFA or bust. Personally, I'm hoping this is the last time we see him as a Twin.

    Even if they were healthy he would've stuck with Santana. He is the Franco to Molly's Rogen.
