Yes I do agree with you. Just love to get some high upside, young pitchers into our system.

Can we PLEASE just try spending it on some pitching, we have Javier, Lewis, and Gordon already but we are really lacking top end pitching talent.

This was my exact same question...

Anyone think the Twins are waiting to nab Blayne Enlow? I don't know much about him, but he sounds intriguing. Their savings thus far may be what it takes to entice him even as a later pick into signing

Make sure to be voting for Sano the max of 35 times! The link is below, he deserves to be a starter in this game. https://www.mlb.com/all-star/ballot

You didn't mention who is starting tonight so that leaves it to my imagination.....Kyle Wright?
  7. FunnyPenguin
I am rooting for Wright, isn't he pretty much the common sense pick at this point? College starter that could be in the majors before long with a good 4 pitch mix, high floor and a ceiling of a top of the rotation starter.

    A cup o' optimism?

The exit speed on Amarista's double was 66 mph and Blackmon's single was 78 mph Then Kepler lines one off at 113 mph and it's an out

Man...Santana needs to hit the restart button

"Paul Goldschmidt was on nobody’s top 100 ever, ever. He’s turned out OK.” Love that, if the Twins could just get 3-4 "OK" hitters in their lineup, we'd have a sweet team

Kyle "All-over" Gibson....in more than one way probably
  18. FunnyPenguin
This is soooo Gibson, looks really good for 3 innings and then deteriorates....

DaveW - I too really appreciate you bringing this to us! Obviously you have a source, beat MLB Trade Rumors, Bleacher Report, Etc. to the news and it was cool to be in the loop! Do you consider it to be imminent now or is there still some serious haggling to do? It's close to a deal though isn't it?

It might just be me, but I have a feeling that Light could become a stud in our bullpen
