  1. Totally. http://image.stirileprotv.ro/media/images/original/Jun2012/60581834.jpg
  2. The Dodgers actually really like Fien. I knew we shouldn't have given up on him.
  3. I just got off the phone with the Dodgers GM. Dozier for Kershaw is a no-go, I'm afraid. I'll keep trying, though.
  4. Eh, this seems to me like reaching for excuses for why Dozier is hitting again. The reality is that his numbers are simply rising to meet his normal level. His OPS stats the past three seasons (including this one) are .757, .751, .761. Can anybody really look at those numbers and say he's NOT a .750 OPS guy? That's what he is, folks. Nobody should be surprised that his OPS didn't stay in the .620 range.
  5. He has three home runs and five doubles in his last ten games. I've never seen a player who's "not driving the ball" do that kind of damage.
  6. I genuinely feel bad for Duffey right now. Poor kid.
  7. I'll say this for Duffey, he will never lose an Allan Anderson look-alike contest. http://www.tradingcarddb.com/Images/Cards/Baseball/149/149-219Fr.jpg
  8. The hair has been a problem this season, but at least he's still trying. Mauer seems to have just given up. Remember this guy? http://cdn29.us1.fansshare.com/images/joemauer/joe-mauer-mn-twins-mlb-hair-646035237.jpg Frickin' glorious!
  9. And yet people seem ready to tar and feather 25-year-old Danny Santana for his numbers. If Arcia gets to be in the "he's young, so he gets a pass" club, then it's only fair that the less-experienced Santana gets to hang out there too.
  10. Between this and the other thread, I think I may have seen the words "upside" and "potential" enough times to last me a lifetime. Isn't potential just a really, really polite way of saying David McCarty?
  11. Nunez, Abad, and E. Santana are probably the only guys in the All-Star conversation right now...just like we all predicted at the beginning of the season.
  12. Is Nunez going to be in San Diego on July 12th? Somebody on the team has to go.
  13. Yeah, Sano's getting his home run stroke back.
  14. It counts. You just have to think it and it counts.
  15. Duffey is pissed about that ONE run he allowed. I love this guy.
  16. It's weird seeing a Twins starter not stinking things up. I'm slightly frightened.
  17. True, but I still think Molitor is generally too quick with his hook.
